Lake Starnberg

At the beautiful lake Starnberg I participated in another AFS meeting. We stayed right at the lake and just had to walk a few minutes to the lake. So besides working and participating in AFS work we went swimming, played beach volleyball or just relaxed at the lake. And the weather was just perfect, it was really nice and sunny and it didn't rain for long.
Well, another weekend with AFS. I know it seems like AFS is controlling my life but I really enjoy working voluntary for this amazing exchange program and it is always a nice hobby beside my busy university life ;) It is totally worth it to and you never get bored with AFS.

Semester recap

Another semester is over now. I just finished my second semester and now I am off for the next 3 months. Although I do not have any courses any longer it does not mean I don't have anything to do. I have to study for my upcoming exams now so I won't get bored at all. I have four exams coming up which I have to study a lot for in order to pass them.
The next semester I can either choose wether I want to learn more about informatics or about natural science and I probably will go deeper in the field of bio - chemistry.

A year ago

Another year passed. I do not know how many times I have said it, but time is running by so fast. One year ago I spent two great weeks with my american friends and family in California. It has been amazing two weeks. I wish I could go back to California and do the whole vacation again. I miss my family and my friends over there. I hope I will see them soon enough...

Working Student

Since May I am working as a working student in a software company. The company provides simulation calculation for all kinds of problems such as crash simulation or thermic calculation. My job is to get to know the varies simulation softwares and get the basic idea behind those programs. So far, it is really interesting and I really like my job. I do not work that much because of my study but at least I get a closer look on the life after I am done with studying ;)

Europe Cup

Thank you Germany's National Soccer Team for a great Europe Cup. Even if you did not make it to the finale, you were all playing a great tournament and every one of you can be proud. I had a great time and really enjoyed the Europe Cup. There were some surprises in the beginning but in the end it is always the same, Spain wins. Congratulation Spain for winning the Cup second time in a row. But next time, Germany is winning the tournament. Watch out for them, we will be back ;)
