My first semester is over now which doesn't mean I am bored as hell ;) Right now I am studying for my upcoming exams next months. And it is a lot I have to study. Especially in Maths you never get bored because there is always something you didn't understand quite well. In the last few months I have learned so much. It is much more different than high school where you have a slower past in learning new stuff. But at university you lear so much new stuff in so short time. And it is not only in Maths, it is in all kind of subject you have. Honestly, I never get bored because I always can find something to do, no matter what kind of subject it is. Well, it still an interesting study and let's see how I will do on the exams...

Studying
This song describes pretty much how I feel like right now. My first semester is officially over but it doesn't mean I have lots of free time now. I am studying for my upcoming exams now. It is not like that as a student you have only vacation and holidays. It is more or less the opposite because I do not have much time for anything else besides studying for my exams. After my exams I have only two more weeks left until my second semester starts. So everyone who thinks studying is only partying is either studying something really easy or just don't know how college life is ;)

you never get bored with AFS ;)
Well, what can I say. AFS is like a drug for me. I'm addicted to work voluntarily for this exchange organization. This time I participated in the selection of the new students who will spend some time abroad. It was a great AFS weekend and I wish all the students we picked a great and unforgettable time abroad.
It's like there is no weekend without any AFS but I just enjoy it and it is always fun to meet new AFSer ;) as I said you never get bored with AFS....

Super Bowl
One day after Super Bowl I can't wait for the next one.The Super Bowl was not as good as I expected to be. Especially the first half was not excited at all. Low scoring game and not really great passes or drives. And the half time show was not really impressive at all. Last year's show was much better but well I did not expect much from Madonna. The second half was way better than the half. Better drives and it was more exciting. Especially the end was nerve racking ;) but with a happy ending for the Giants.
Unfortunately the german TV broadcast was awful. The commentators did not know much about football and were just talking crap. And the commercials during the break were annoying because they showed the same commercials permanently. Well let's hope next year will be better again. All in all I have seen better Super Bowl games, better halftime shows and commercials.

Super Bowl Night
I cannot wait for the Super Bowl to start! Every year it is amazing to watch and it is just fun to watch. This year it did not go well for the New York Jets so I will root for the other New York Team, the Giants because I cannot stand the Pats. I hope it will be a great game tonight with good passes and touchdowns. It is going to be awesome. That's for sure. Unfortunately the Super Bowl commercials won't be on TV tonight, at least not here in Germany. At least I can watch all those funny commercials on YouTube :)

Great story with a happy ending
This happened on TAM airlines.
A 50-something year old white woman arrived at her seat and saw that the passenger next to her was a black man.
Visibly furious, she called the air hostess.
"What's the problem, mam?" the hostess asked her
"Can't you see?" the lady said - "I was given a seat next to a black man. I can't sit here next to him. You have to change my seat"
- "Please, calm down, mam" - said the hostess
"Unfortunately, all the seats are occupied, but I'm still going to check if we have any."
The hostess left and returned some minutes later.
"Madam, as I told you, there isn't any empty seat in this class- economy class.
But I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that there isn't any empty seats in the economy class. We only have seats in the first class."
And before the woman said anything, the hostess continued
"Look, it is unusual for our company to allow a passenger from the economy class change to the first class.
However, given the circumstances, the Pilot thinks that it would be a scandal to make a passenger travel sitting next to an unpleasant person."
And turning to the black man, the hostess said:
"Which means, Sir, if you would be so nice to pack your handbag, we have reserved you a seat in the first class..."
And all the passengers nearby, who were shocked to see the scene started applauding, some standing on their feet.
