AFS National Meeting

This weekend I attended a national AFS meeting which took place in Duesseldorf. From all over Germany AFS came to participate at this meeting. We discussed about the future of AFS Germany and how we can improve the local AFS chapter work and AFS Germany as a whole. We all had a lot of constructive discussion and a lot of fun.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Unfortunately I will miss all the good food you guys get on Thanksgiving. The food is tasteful and you always have way to much to eat ;)

....another AFS weekend

And another great but busy and exhausting AFS weekend is over. About 25 students between 14 and 16 want to spend the next school year somewhere else besides Germany. We did lots of lithe workshops and games with them so we could see if they are capable of spending a year abroad. All in all we had a lot of fun and I am glad that there are still young people who want to do a exchange year although school is getting more busy every year. A exchange year is always a win!

University started

I has been a few weeks now since university started. I am studying Simulation Technology in Stuttgart now which is a really tough and hard study. The first few weeks I visited a Math preparation camp before the actually semester started. In our first officially week we had a Math course and following then our regular schedule started. I am taking Physics, Analysis, Engineering mechanics and software development. And all four classes are really hard and I have to work hard for them, especially Analysis is really tough. But I will see how I will do the next few years.
