Hot weather

In the last few days the weather was just crazy. It was about 100 degrees every day and due to the humidity it felt like 110 degrees. And even the pool was to warm now and not refreshing at all anymore.

Goodbye Lincoln

The last two weeks went by so quickly. I had a great vacation in Lincoln and enjoyed every day. It was just amazing to see my family and friends again. It is still a little bit surreal for me. In the the two weeks in Lincoln I have done a lot. I went to the movies a few times, played tennis and went paintballing. I also went for a hike at Lake Tahoe, watched the fireworks on 4th of July or just played video games with my friend. With my sister I went swimming and for a bike ride. And I really enjoyed the Mexican food. This was my best vacation ever and I am sad it is already over. Thank you to my host family and my friends to make this such an unbelievable vacation. And I cannot wait to come back next month.

Happy 4th of July

My first time I am in the United States on Independence Day. Happy 4th of July everyone. I visited a friend where we had a barbecue. Later that night, there was a firework at McBean Park in Lincoln which we watched. It was a great fireworks with red, white and blue colored fireworks. It was a great Independence Day for me. I enjoyed it.

Lake Tahoe

This Sunday we went to visit Lake Tahoe. It was an amazing trip. We had such a great time there. The weather was nice and the lake was so beautiful. First we went for a little hike where we stopped at a waterfall. After lunch we took a gondola to the top of a mountain. The view was amazing. You could see the whole Lake Tahoe and it was just amazing. There was even snow there. We walked a little bit through the snow. It was funny to see snow in the middle of summer.

Vacation in Lincoln

My first week of vacation is almost over. I am having a great time here in Lincoln. The weather is beautiful, maybe a little bit too hot but no rain at all. It is such a great feeling to be back. During this week I went to the movies. We watched "X-Men" and"Bad Teachers" so far. Pretty good movies. Beside that we played some video games or just hanged out. And on Thursday I played tennis with my old tennis coaches and some teammates from my high school. It was great to play with and against them again and the next day my legs were sore. Today I even went paintballing. I have never done it before butt I did pretty good. It was so much fun and I had a great time. We played for about two hours and because of the hot weather it was really tiring.
