Boston

This weekend I visited Boston. I took the bus on Saturday morning from New York and after a four hour ride I arrived in Boston at around 2pm. First, I visited Harvard University where I also took a guided tour. The tour was really interesting and I learned some amazing stuff about Harvard such as every Harvard president has a house named by him except president Hoar. Hard to imagine why ;)
On Sunday I went to Boston Airport and picked up one of my best friend from Germany. He was going to visit his host family in Maine the next day so that is why he came to Boston. We had a great time together and I really enjoyed the time. I had such a great and amazing trip to Boston.

College

Today was my last day of college. In the last fiveteen weeks I took two courses at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Both course I had twice a week, so on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I had a 90 minutes class. One class was "International Migration and Human Rights" where we learned about the legal basis of migrants and asylum seekers, the development of international migration movement, trafficking and the reason for migration. It was a really interesting class and I learned a lot, especially about the European Migration policy and how Europe deals with immigrants. The other class I took was "U.S. and East Asia" which was about the development of the relationship between the United States and countries from East Asia. We also learned about the many wars in East Asia in which the United States was involved in.
In both classes I learned a lot of new things and I am really glad that I took those two classes. I really enjoyed my time at college and I am sad that my time at Ramapo college is over now.

U.N. Headquarter and Central Park

Today we went to New York City again. This time we visited the United Nations Headquarter. It is a huge building but only a few parts are open for the public. We did not see that much from the headquarter. We only could visit the entrance of the U.N. which was still interesting. After that we walked to Central Park and hang out there for a while. The weather was really nice so we relaxed there a little bit and went for a walk through the park.
