Today we went to New York City again. This time we visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The weather was just perfect and we took so many great pictures. The Statue of Liberty is just amazing. We even went inside the Statue where there is a little museum about the history of the statue. There was also the original torch. And we went on the Pedestrian Observation Deck where we had a great view from and we got really close to the statue. After the statue we went to Ellis Island and visited the Immigration Museum. It is just amazing to be at the island where all the immigrants had to go in order to go to New York City.

New York City in 2011
Finally I went to New York City again. Today was the first time in 2011 I visit New York City. I was meeting some other au pairs in NYC. First we went to the Empire State Building. We did not go up because it was too crowded. After that we walked to St. Patrick's Cathedral which is the largest decorated Neo-Gothic style Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States. It was just amazing how they decorated the church. Our next stop was at the Grand Central Station. And finally we walked all the way to Ground Zero which was about a 4 miles walk. We really enjoyed the walk and we passed China Town, the Supreme Court and more. At Ground Zero we visited the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. All in all we had a great time in New York City and we have seen so many things in one day. What another great day in New York City.
