Graduation Day

Today I got my certificate of having passed the abitur. "Abitur" is the german high school diploma, which you need in order to apply for university. It the second time I get a diploma because during my exchange year in the U.S. I also got a "honorary high school diploma", which I does not count here in Germany ;) But now high school is officially over - finally, after 13 years of school.

So now, the first big part of my life is over and now the second one starts. I can't wait to spend another year in the U.S. - this time as an au pair. And afterwards I want to go studying aerospace engineering in Stuttgart.

AFS meeting

This weekend I had another AFS meeting again, which will be my last one at regional level.
This meeting was in Würzburg, a beautiful city in Bavaria. Although we had a tight schedule we got the chance to watch the soccer matches of the World Cup 2010 too ;) With the other AFSer we watched U.S. vs. England and most of us were cheering for the United Staates. And we were all happy that the U.S. played 1:1.

Last day of school

This Friday is my last day of high school. Although I still have school after this two week break, but I won't to go school then, because I am doing an internship. I need this internship for studying aerospace engineering which I want to study after my au pair year.
