Since this friday we have an exchange student from Poland. She will stay with us for the next two weeks, before she is going back to her real host family, where she lives the last six months. Right now she is half way done with her exchange year, and so she stays with us to experience the everyday life of a different family.

Today we visted a vfb match. We were a group of AFS volunteers and exchange students, and we were about 15 people. The vfb stuttgart played verses the top of the league Hertha Berlin. It was a great match and Stuttgart won 2 : 0. It wasn't my first match, I was in the stadium, but it was the best I've ever seen. We were cheering them on and had a lot of fun there.

Yeah....we have our new kitchen now. Today they built in our kitchen, which looks really great now. It's awesome!! For the last six weeks we didn't have a kitchen at all, only a microwave and a frigerator, because we had to deconstruct the old kitchen. Five weeks ago we coated our kitchen wall and then we got a new ground and new lights. And this week we got our new kitchen!!! Now we don't have to do the dish washes in the bathroom anymore and don't have to find the kitchen furnitures, which was spread out all over the place in our house...

The AFS hopees had an AFS camp this weekend, where we played same games with them and told them about our experiences as an exchange student. We prepared them for their exchange year, so they have kind of an idea, how the life as an exchange student will be. We had a lot of fun at the weekend, although we didn't have enough sleep.
