Special olympics

This Saturday  I helped with a few friends at the Special Olympics for people with little diseases. Me and my friend got a "buddy" and had to help him during his day. We showed him where to go and cheered him on. It was really fun, but it was so hot. It was about 90degrees and I got a sunburn...

Mini-Relay

On the last two Friday we had Mini-Relays at three elementry school from our Interact Key Club. The Mini-Relays were copied from the Relay for Life, which is a 24h walk to raise money for the American Caner Society. We showed the kids, what cancer cause and how to protect yourself from getting cancer. I had a station, where the kids had to decide which food is healyh for you, and which not. We had a lot of fun there and the kids learned a lot, how to protect themself from cancer. Now we are all looking for the Relay for Life in a few weeks.

Prom

On Saturday, the 12th there was the Senior and Junior Prom from my high school. The slogan of the prom was "A Sweet Escape" and it was from 6 to midnight.  I didn't rent a limo than others did, so Dad took me and my date to prom. We had a lot of fun there and I met some of my friends there. After we had diner, we went to take picture, but it took forever. We had to wait about 2 hours to get our picture done, because the line was so long. Afterwards there was a DJ and dance and so stayed there till 12 o'clock. All in all, it was a real good experience and we had fun there.
