Today I had my first day of school. I still have two more years school until I finish. For now on, everything counts for my "diplom", which I take at the end of my school carrier. The system is very difficult to understand and it's harder to get good grades, than it is in America. The school system is a little bit different than highschool. Here you have your own classroom, so the teachers come to you. You also can't change your classes, so you have all classes with the same classmates almost the whole school life. Another different is, that if you want to do any kind of sport, you have to do it on your own, because the school doesn't offer any sport. But therefore you usually have school until 13 o'clock, but not every day. What I don't like about the German school system is, that there isn't any school spirit. It's only about education and you can't really identify with your school, which is kind of sad. But I have to see, how I will overcome the next two years.
