Halloween

Today is Halloween and I weared my costum and had orange hair. It was really fun and a lot of people weared costums like me at school. There was a few crazy guys, who had funny costums like superman, a robotic or something else. At school there was a costum challenge and a pumkin challenge, it was so funny. Halloween is so crazy here. I like it.
In the evening I went to a cross country party, which was really fun. We watched a movie and went out for candys. It was awesome how famous halloween is here. Everywhere you could see people with costums and the house were decorated. It was great. For me it was like christmas, when I saw the lights and decoration everywhere. It was funny. I like Halloween.

Grandparent's Yacht

What a boat. It's 20m long and so huge. And the motor is made in Germany, of course. This yacht has three bedrooms and everything you need to live. It's like a second house. We took a little ride with the boat and it was so fun. The weather was nice and I enjoyed it.

Make a difference Day

Today there was the "national day of doing good" and we spent 5h to clean the Lincoln High School. We painted the whole no parking line red, which was a lot of work. But we had fun and worked good together. The other group cleaned the windows of our school, but this wasn't so much work than our's. The whole school looks clean now and everywhere you can see now the red no parking line.

Red Ribben

We went to a elementry school, who had their Red Ribben week, which means not to use drugs. We talked to the small kids, not to use alcohol and drugs and we passed out stickers and book markers. It was really fun and we all signed on the "No Drugs" poster, where all kids should signed on.
On Thursday we went to another elementry school outside from Lincoln, which was really hard to find. The school was so small, that we only had to talk to one class. Everyone loved the Zebra and we played with the kids at their break. They were crazt. The jumped on me, so I felt, but we had a lot of fun there. Next week we have our Red Ribben week at our school.

Oil derrick

We had to built an oil derrick from toothpicks, which has to hold75lbs. My partner Tysan and me we built three tothspicks together, so we get two extra credits. One of the toothspicks we built in our leadership class, it was really funny. I painted my toothpick white and it looks really good. When we will test the toothpicks I will be in WorldDisenyLand so I can't see it. I hope mine is strong enough to hold 75lbs. I will see.

PVL Meet #3

This was our last PVL meet, which counted twice. It was really hot (about 25Grad) and hard to run without my cap. For my 3.04 milese I needed 25.22min, which was 3sec slower than last time. But I did pretty good, because the most runners were about 20 - 30sec slower than their last time. And of course, Placer won the PVL at the girls and the boys. There are so good. I only have one race left, which are the subsections next Saturday.

Senior Meeting

This meeting was about ordering our cab and gown for our graduation. You can order so much stuff, which is really crazy. I ordered only a Standard Package and I will see how I look like in my cab and gown. I wasn't crazy and ordered a class ring for $200.

California's Fires

Oh my god. In the south of California there are hudge fires. About 1million people had to leave their home and 1,800 people lost their home. It is a real catastrophe. I'm glad there's no fire around Lincoln, because it's still warm here. It has about 70-80 degreese. I hope the weather will change and help the fire men, who works the whole time...

My 10th week

Oh my god. Time goes so fast, I've been here over two months now...This week was as usual kind of busy, I had two Chemistry test and one Pysics Test and Monday was an Early Release Day, which means, I had school till 1.30pm. I'm a little bit sick, because I had 2h practice in the rain on Tuesday, but the weather is still warm. It's about 20 -25 Grad, and it doesn't rain so often. This week was only on Tuesday! On Thursday was "Love my body day", but nobody cared about it excepting leadership...Yesterday there was a Ralley at school for the football game, but it wasn't at home and so I didn't go. Today I had a cross country race in Lodi, which was only 2 miles and the whole course was flat. I needed 14.01 min, which was pretty good, because it was 2minutes faster than usual. At my race I had to run with girls together, which was a kind of weird. I also started my 24h fast trip today, where Dad and Mum sponsor me. The money which I collect goes to poor people. Everyone who is in the SOS club of our school, has to do this. Normally they want to fast on November, 9th, but I will be in WorldDisneyLand, so I decided to fast today!

My 9th week

This week was a kind of busy, but not with tests. I had only one big Maths Test on Monday, where I have a B (!). The whole week Dad was in LA and he came home on Friday, so I missed him this week...On Wednesday there was a teacher auction, where the pupils could buy their favorite teacher and dressed them up on Friday. It was really funny, and the hightest price was 60$. The whole money goes to poor children. On Wednesday I also had a cross country race at our course and I beat my best time by 15 seconds, so I needed for 3.1miles 25.19min. One strange thing at this race was, that I didn't use my cup, it wasn't allowed for me ;-). On Thursday and Friday we only had school till 12.24, because both days were minimum days!!!On Friday I've got a haircut and we picked up Dad, so I couldn't go to the football game, but we won. On Saturday I had a cross country race in Folsom. The course was up and down, but the view was great. We ran around a lake, but it was cold and we were freezing in our short uniforms. I have to run 4.284km (!) and I needed 21.25 minutes, which was my best race ever and I had a mile average of 8.00 minutes (4 laps). I did pretty good!! In the evening I went with a friend to a Church Dance . It was a Mormon Church, but we had a lot of fun there. A lot of people were dressed up like on Halloween. I met a lot of pupils my school there, also one exchange student from Netherlands. The weather is still ok, it isn't so warm yet and it can rain, but for me it's still better than in Germany.

My 8th week

The weather is still warm, I don't have to use jeans or sweatshirts. Only one day the weather wasn't so warm.This week was a kind of busy. I had one big Physic Chapter Test on Thursday, but it was the only test this week. Next Monday I have a big Maths Test.
On Tuesday I had an appointment for my Senior picture for the year book, which was really funny and on Wednesday there was the Senior Suite Day, where the Seniors had to wear suite. It was only a few, were dressed up. I was one of them.
On Thursday we had our team picture of cross country, so I didn't had practice this day :-).
Yesterday I had a cross country race in Auburn, which was a kind of fun run, because you didn't have to wear your uniform. You could wear what you wanted. One of my team wear cheerleading clothes and some girls dressed also up. It was really funny, but I forgot my camera :-(. The race was really hard, because it was 2 miles uphill and the first 100 meters were so step, that my legs hurt after the first few meters. The whole course uphill!!! I needed 21.37 minutes and I did pretty good. I'm glad I'm not a girl, because they had to run in the rain and hail. Oh my god!!! After the race I watched the football game of our school and we won 13 : 10, but it was really cold. I was freezing...
Today I had cross country practice and we run 7miles up and downhill. After the race yesterday it was so hard and it was about 13Grad, because we had practice at 8 o'clock. We needed about 75 minutes, but we had a lot of fun, although some of use felt -me too..
In the afternoon I watched the Lincoln Air Show and I was selling ice cream of our Interact Key Club. The show was really great, and I have taken a lot good picture. Tomorrow Dad will go one week to LA for his work, so I will miss him next week.
